Mother In Law’s Tongue Tree
The
tongue tree of the genie, Mother-In-Law Tongue tree or sansevieria in English is a plant that has more
than 70 species of flowering plants in the family Ruscaceae that are native to
the tropical country of the Past.
This the plant has small succulent trees with leafy greens that grow from 20 cm to 3m
high, mostly forming deep clusters of scattered rhizomes or stolons. The
flowers are whitish gray, produced on simple rasam, or branched 40-90 cm long.
The fruit is a red or orange berry.
This
type is named after the Prince of San Severo, Raimondo di Sangro (1710-1771) in
Italy. The spellings 'Sansevieria' and 'Sansviera' are commonly seen as well, the
confusion comes from the spelling that intersects the names of Italian places.

In
African countries, the leaves are used to produce fiber in some species. For
example, Sansevieria ehrenbergii, a plant sap contains antiseptic qualities and
its leaves are used as a bandage in traditional first aid.
Some species are well-known home plants in some countries, with sales of Sansevieria trifasciata being the most widely cultivated.This tree is usually grown as home decoration, but the medicinal uses of this plant are amazing.
These include treatment for abdominal pain, earache, diarrhea, and hemorrhoids. Among others, it is used to treat flu, cough, inflammation (bronchitis), swelling due to sprains, boils, and hair nourishment. This plant is cold, antibiotic nutritious, and sour in taste. This is because its leaves are rich in abamagenin, cardanolin, saponins, and polyphenols.
Studies
conducted by local research centers acknowledge that the Mother-In-Law Tongue tree can
be collagen to skin health. The mother tongue also acts as a good air
purifier by removing toxins such as formaldehyde, xylene, and toluene from the
air so that it is also called a cure for sick building syndrome. This tree also
produces oxygen at night, making it suitable for planting in the bedroom.
